To return or exchange an item you will need to print off your original order confirmation and write on there why you want to return the item.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the product to us (unless it is faulty, incorrect or mis-described). We suggest you return your products by “Recorded” delivery so you can follow up with the courier service you have selected to use as any lost returns are the responsibility of the sender.

Please repackage your item wherever possible in the original packaging and enclose a copy of your order confirmation.

Post items with the cost of postage clearly marked on the outside of the package. If this is not possible please enclose a receipt of postage within the package. Obtain proof of posting wherever possible. Note postage refunds will ONLY be paid on faulty items.

For international returns: please mark your package. RETURNED GOODS VAT NO: GB296424375 we will NOT be able to pay for customs charges incurred when returning items. We will refuse any returns that incur a duty charge because the package was not marked correctly.

Please note the cost for ALL returns is the responsibility of the purchaser unless the goods are found to be faulty. 1816 CYCLES will not accept the costs of any courier charges UNLESS approved beforehand and suggest goods are always sent by their local postal service using a tracked normal service.

Any courier charges incurred by 1816 CYCLES for returns not sent in the described way will be recharged in full back to the customer before any exchanges are made or deducted from any refunds due.

Faulty items will either be replaced, repaired or refunded following evaluation by the 1816 CYCLES’s Customer Services team.

Note we only accept returns that are under 60 days from the date of purchase for faults and 28 days from the date of purchase for exchange/refund providing the garment has not been washed or worn and is returned in the same condition along with all the packaging. Items returned without all of the packaging and not in the same condition as they were dispatched when you placed your order will be either subject to a £28 restocking charge OR refusal to refund and your product will be shipped back to you.

When we receive your return we will aim to process it within 10-16 working days and will refund you on any monies owing and the return postage only if the goods are faulty (up to the value of £5 UK, $12 US, €7 EUR) directly to the card you used to purchase your original item(s).
